Short Summary
The aim of the project is to measure a specific historical one-design-class of sailing dinghies, the International 12 Foot Dinghy. Its design was issued 1913. World wide a fleet of some hundreds has remained. New ones have been built in the past decades. The class is going through a revival. This involves remeasuring of all dinghies by 3D laser scanning. Those boat-scans should be digitally compared with the original design
